is not enough to set it right
from the wino in the gutter
to the hooker on the street
even in the dead of winter
you can not avoid the heat

little suzy went to college
she was gonna be be a vet
she was looking for some knowledge
but how soon did she forget
first the pills then the powders
then the needle in her vein
now she's working on her masters
in the psychology of pain

what's the moral of my story
what's the meaning of my tale
through the pain and the glory
temptation will prevail
if you want to dodge a bullet
if you want to get it right
better watch out for temptation
or you're gonna loose the fight
